While searching through the files of my old “Animation” folder, I came across a walk cycle I made all the way back in July of 2020. The animation was for a summer class I was taking from the University of the Arts (RIP), virtually of course. However, in contrast from the digital nature of the class, all of our animations were originally made on paper. So, I grabbed a few pieces of paper and a more modern light table and set to work, using Derpycat, a character I made in 2014, as my meanderer of choice. The animation was then put together to ensure it was smooth, then each framed was scanned into Adobe Photoshop and digitized, and here is the finished product.
